Building a WhatsApp Clone Using JavaScript: A Beginner’s Intro to JS (II)
As you already know from the previous workshop, JavaScript, alongside HTML and CSS, is one of the core technologies of the World Wide Web. It enables interactive web pages and is an essential part of web applications.
Initially only implemented client-side in web browsers, JavaScript engines are now embedded in many other types of host software. In other words, although JavaScript is best known as the scripting language for Web pages, it can be used in many non-browser environments as well.
In this workshop, we shall mirror a real-life example of creating an application that has interactivity. We shall look into JS events handling, animations, transitions, and so on. Furthermore, we shall be using JS to work on CSS styling to make the application more user-friendly.
